Mrs. Joerge is saying goodbye...

Dear Parents,                                                                                                 

          It is with deep regret to inform you that I will be leaving Matheson Park.  I have recently accepted an offer teaching at University Hospital (UNMH).  Although my family and I are excited about this new opportunity, I am sad to leave my family at Matheson.  After much consideration I feel it would be to the benefit of my family to accept this position.  I have enjoyed teaching your child and I wish them all a bright future at Matheson Park and beyond.  I will be here for Parent/Teacher Conference week; my last day will be February 29^th.  Thank you so much for your support. 

         My replacement is Mrs. Lisa Ashcraft.  She is a licensed teacher, and will be joining me during the conferences.  Mr. Maresca told APS HR that he will only place a licensed teacher in the classroom, and not a long-term subsitutue.  She is very excited to be joining MPES, and I'm happy to be leaving my class in her hands.
