I want to wish a peaceful and restful Holiday to all my families and friends here at Matheson Park Elementary.

We have completed 88 days of school so far out of our school year, and have accomplished many great things.  I am so proud of our teachers, staff, and students, and I tell people all the time how fortunate I am to be the principal at such a hard working school.

Please take the next 16 days to rest, relax, and re-energize yourselves with those closest to you.  When we come back from our break we will need to be ready to hit the ground running.  I know all of our teachers have many wonderful things planned to help take all of the children at Matheson Park to the next level in their education.

As always, please remember to read with your children every night.  It's a wonderful opportunity to spend a few minutes watching your child grow before your eyes, and this is something everyone needs to be doing daily.
