I was so pleased to see all the smiling faces come back to school after our break, both adults and children alike.  We have a busy 2nd half of the year coming at us full speed, so I thought it would be helpful to post key dates for January on our Home Page.

Tuesday January 13                  No School – Teacher In-service

Monday January 19                  No School – Martin Luther King Holiday

Thursday January 22                 Family Reading Night: Build-a-Book 6:00pm,

                                                Free pizza and bottled water

Tuesday January 27                  2nd grade Reading Party 6:30 – 7:30pm in P11

Please also remember to check your child's backpack and planner daily.  Our school utilizes what we fondly refer to as 'Back-pack Mail' to save on postage.  The teachers will be sending home information and updates using this method.
