• Required Registration for all students is August 13^th & 14^th, Thursday & Friday, from 9:00am until 4:00pm. (in the cafeteria)
• First day of school for grades 1^st through 5^th is Thursday, August 20^th, with our first bell ringing at 8:57 in the morning.
• Kindergarten assessments will be taking place here at MPES Thursday & Friday, August 20-21. You will be given your child's assessment schedule during registration
• First day for kindergarten students is Monday, August 24^th, same bell schedule as all students.

• Drop-off and pick up is to be in the south (in the back) parking lot only. The front is for Day Care vans. Please respect this request as it is a safety issue for our students.
• MPES increased its Federal dollars last year by asking everyone to please submit a free/reduced lunch form. I will again be asking that all families please complete this form during registration. These funds made it possible for us to purchase 1.5 additional teachers to support all students in literacy as well as allowing us to obtain more supplies for our students.
• One final note; Matheson Park ES Made AYP for School Year 2008-2009!  Congratulations to our students and staff on another successful year.  I'm proud of all of you!
